At Gateway Southern Baptist Church we see Reality not as it is, but how it might be! What a privilege to participate in the ministry that God has given us. As we look toward the future…that vision includes opportunities to extend our boundaries and reach more people with the HOPE of the Gospel! That’s why we will do more than just scale the next mountain. We will seek to include our body to cast the next vision of ministry. • HOW A PERSON BECOMES PART OF GATEWAY?   “The first step of getting involved is to join a Study in Sunday school and bible study services.              

• HOW A PERSON IN COMMUNITY IS EMPOWERED?: Empowerment comes from taking a part in the Service in the Church with others who share a commitment to responsible, informed action.                  

• WHAT REQUIREMENTS ARE THERE FOR ‘BELONGING’ TO CHURCH?:                              Accept Jesus Christ as personal savior and be in prayerful interaction with others who are already living in Biblically.                                                                                                                                

• HOW ARE WE HELD ACCOUNTABLE?: Gateway Church is self regulating. We keep each other accountable in loving relationships of mutual submission. Served by leadership, small groups, serving groups who take care of ‘one another.’ We have nothing but each other.                                                              

• HOW ARE LEADERSHIP HELD ACCOUNTABLE?: Leadership is ultimately held accountable by the church as a whole through Biblical Principles and aided by Church Counsel with oversight of the Pastor. The Pastor, in turn is responsible to give leadership to the church through maintaining Biblical Principles and being lead of God.                                                                                                                           

• WHAT IS a BIBLICAL Church?: Living Life in Biblical Church is getting to know personally the Written and the Living Word. The Church is the BODY of Christ. Christ is the HEAD and He is guiding us in the journey. Those living in Biblically enter into a covenant with God and serve Him in the church. We commit ourselves to one another, to Christ and choose to willingly and mutual submit to God and his word in the Church.      

• WHY SHOULD I BE PART OF This Church?: Committing yourselves to Christ and to others is what it means to be part of a church. Joining Gateway Southern Baptist Church is simple, First make your commitment to Christ and His Church known publicly, Submit to Believers Baptism then seriously commit to living Christ like in your every day LIFE.                                                                                                           

• Who am I Committing to, GOD AND GATEWAY CHURCH?: As a local expression of God’s Church, we covenant together and with each other. This means we covenant together with each other and with God.
  
  Our lives are shaped by the habits we develop.
  We look at Our “Lives”, we  find it helpful to break it down into practical action steps, patterns, habits that deepen my relationship with Jesus as I journey down life’s path. Our desire at Gateway Church is to take a close look at the plan Jesus gave us for taking the next steps in our spiritual journey.
  
  WHAT IS THE MESSAGE:
  Gateway Southern Baptist Church has a long standing of being involved in personal, local and global mission. Each person is responsible for complete obedience to Jesus’ strategic plan. Each person has a sphere of influence in family and personal contacts that should gravitate to spiritual discussion and invitation. Our local community is the area where God has placed us to serve him in our Walks of Life. Our local community should look different because our Biblical Church penetrates our culture. Each local group living in Biblical Community should seek to obey the Command of Christ to “GO” into all the World and Make Disciples of ALL Nations. We will seek to do as much as we can, and all that we do, we will do well.
