“The first step of getting involved is to join a Study in Sunday school and bible study services.
HOW A PERSON IN COMMUNITY IS EMPOWERED?:
Empowerment comes from taking a part in the Service in the Church with others who share a commitment to responsible, informed action.
WHAT REQUIREMENTS ARE THERE FOR ‘BELONGING’ TO COMMUNITY?:
Accept Jesus Christ as personal savior and be in prayerful interaction with others who are already living in Biblically.
HOW ARE community members HELD ACCOUNTABLE?:
Gateway Church is self regulating. We keep each other accountable in loving relationships of mutual submission. Served by leadership, small groups, serving groups who take care of ‘one another.’ We have nothing but each other.
HOW ARE LEADERSHIP HELD ACCOUNTABLE?:
Leadership is ultimately held accountable by the church as a whole through Biblical Principles and aided by Church Counsel with oversight of the Pastor. The Pastor, in turn is responsible to give leadership to the church through
maintaining Biblical Principles and being lead of God.
WHAT IS a BIBLICAL Church?:
Living Life in Biblical Church is getting to know personally the Written and the Living Word. The Church is the BODY of Christ. Christ is the HEAD and He is guiding us in the journey. Those living in Biblically enter into a covenant with God and serve Him in the church. We commit ourselves to one another, to Christ and choose to willingly and mutual submit to God and his word in the Church.
