HOW A PERSON BECOMES PART OF THE Church?: “The first step of getting involved is to join a Study in Sunday school and bible study services.

HOW A PERSON IN COMMUNITY IS EMPOWERED?: Empowerment comes from taking a part in the Service in the Church with others who share a commitment to responsible, informed action.

WHAT REQUIREMENTS ARE THERE FOR ‘BELONGING’ TO COMMUNITY?: Accept Jesus Christ as personal savior and be in prayerful interaction with others who are already living in Biblically.

HOW ARE community members HELD ACCOUNTABLE?: Gateway Church is self regulating. We keep each other accountable in loving relationships of mutual submission. Served by leadership, small groups, serving groups who take care of ‘one another.’ We have nothing but each other.

HOW ARE LEADERSHIP HELD ACCOUNTABLE?: Leadership is ultimately held accountable by the church as a whole through Biblical Principles and aided by Church Counsel with oversight of the Pastor. The Pastor, in turn is responsible to give leadership to the church through maintaining Biblical Principles and being lead of God.

WHAT IS a BIBLICAL Church?: Living Life in Biblical Church is getting to know personally the Written and the Living Word. The Church is the BODY of Christ. Christ is the HEAD and He is guiding us in the journey. Those living in Biblically enter into a covenant with God and serve Him in the church. We commit ourselves to one another, to Christ and choose to willingly and mutual submit to God and his word in the Church.

WHY SHOULD I BE PART OF Gateway Baptist Church?: Committing yourselves to Christ and to others is what it means to be part of a church. Joining Gateway Southern Baptist Church is simple, First make your commitment to Christ and His Church known publicly, Submit to Believers Baptism then seriously commit to living Christ like in your everyday life.

Who am I Committing to, GOD AND GATEWAY CHURCH?: As a local expression of God’s Church, we covenant together and with each other. This means we covenant together with each other and with God.

WHAT WE DO:

Gateway Southern Baptist church is a place “Where Faith and Insight of the Future Come Together.” When we come together in authentic corporate expressions of Worship, you will find our Community is Real and Genuine. We desire to lead people non-judgmentally into the presence of God. We will strive to pursue excellence in the areas of Relevant Teaching and Worshiping God and His GLORY as our primary goal.

Live in biblical community through small groups
Gateway is a place where people from all walks of life can find a place of belonging. We desire to “Connect People to God, Each Other and the World,” through small groups. We care for one another, encourage one another and challenge one another to deepen both our understanding of God and His mission for our lives to win our world to Himself. We are all that we have!

Offer healing to the hurting with the hope of recovery Gateway is a place of HOPE. It is where the hurting, depressed, the frustrated, the confused, the addict, can find love expressed through Biblical truth, acceptance, help, hope, forgiveness, guidance and encouragement on their journey toward recovery. We will celebrate changed lives as people experience freedom, taking appropriate steps on the path to the Savior! Minister to the entire family.

The Gateway Southern Baptist Church is all about Family. We desire to come alongside of husbands and wives, strengthening the unit that God brought together. We will help parents WIN as spiritual leaders in their homes. We desire to recognize and minister to the different looks of home: Parents with Children; Single Parents; Young Adults; Seniors; Broken Homes. We want parents to pass on to their children an eternal legacy of significance as we serve God and Community together.

Share the Message of the gospel in every day life Commandment and Great Commission multiplication throughout the world, expanding the KINGDOM OF GOD. We will spread the GOOD NEWS of Jesus Christ and His CHURCH throughout the World according to Jesus’ strategic plan. We will encourage, equip and unleash each member to personally engage in the command of Christ to “MAKE DISCIPLES” of all nations. We will reach out with Christ-like eyes not discriminating against: race, economics, health, religion or politics
